Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as it sets out the terms of a legally binding agreement between you (the reader) and SwanAir Travel & Safaris. This following sets out the terms and conditions on which you may use the services of SwanAir.
All payments can be made with a credit card, electronic bank transfer or cash prior the start of any safari or holiday. Credit card payments attract a surcharge of 3.5% to 3% depending on the credit card type.
50% deposit is required to confirm any safari or holiday, the rest of the payment can be made 45 days prior departure or arrival. Short notice bookings require 100% payment Payments made by Visa
All Gorilla and chimp permits should be obtained at least 3 months prior the travel date. They are obtained on a first come first served basis and are only confirmed with payment.
Traveling in or out of a ‘Yellow Fever Epidemic Zone’ requires a Yellow fever immunisation certificate which should be carried at all times during immigration procedures.
Swanair travel and safaris will endeavour that all arrangements and services offered as part of the safari/holiday are carried out as specified in the most efficient way possible. However, the company does not have direct control of the provision of services by suppliers and, whilst every supplier is chosen with the utmost care, Swan air does not accept liability for errors or omissions of such suppliers.
Swanair travel and safaris shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature whatsoever whether to person or property. Swanair travel and safaris cannot be held responsible for the direct or indirect costs of loss or damage to baggage or personal possessions.
Swanair travel and safaris cannot accept liability or pay compensation for unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the company or its staff, including flight delays/cancellations or force majeure such as war or threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist acts, border closure, acts of government or other authorities, strikes, thefts, epidemics, road closures, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, extreme weather conditions, fire, technical and/or mechanical problems to transport and all similar events beyond the company’s control.
It is the responsibility of the clients to take proper medical and practical precautions in regard to health and safety. Medical advice should be sought well before travelling. Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance before coming to Uganda. Local evacuation coverage is available in the unlikely event of a medical emergency while on safari with Swanair travel and safaris.
Holidays, tours and safari costs are subject to availability at the actual time of booking.
